“World Heart Day” Drawing Competition 2008

Venue (for rematch):Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCC)
Requirement:Junior Division:ages 11 and under
Senior Division:12–17 years old
Fee:FREE

How To Enter:

  1. Contestants should hand in their artwork (42 cm × 29.5 cm) together with a completed registration form to CCC no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 2
  2. The judging panel will choose 20 finalists from each age group
  3. The 40 finalists will participate in the “World Heart Day” drawing competition to be held at the CCC on October 12, 2008

Theme:

  1. Junior Division (Sketching/Drawing): “I Love Smoke-Free City”
  2. Intermediate Division (Ad/Poster): “Protect Your Heart”

Colour & Tools:

  1. Contestants should bring their own colouring tools and equipment
  2. A3-sized (42cm × 29.5cm) white drawing paper will be provided by the organizer to all finalists.

Prizes:

  1. All finalists will receive certificates and gift bags.
  2. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from each division will receive trophies
  3. Drawings by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners will represent Toronto to compete at the International Chinese Heart Health Network Drawing Competition in 2009 held in Hong Kong.
