Junior Aviation Program—Young Eagle March Break Day Camp

• When: March 19, 2010 (Friday) from 9am to 4pm
• Where: Buttonville Municipal Airport (2883 16th Avenue, Markham, ON L3R 0P8)
• Suitable for children and youth aged 10 and above

Program:

• Morning program (9am–12pm):
  • Introduction to the theory, structure, and types of aircraft and joys of flying
  • Interactive program with pictures, model, games, and video
  • Taught by licensed flight instructor
• Pizza lunch (optional)
• Afternoon program (2–4pm):
  • Tour of Buttonville Airport
  • Photos with small aircraft
  • Parents are welcome to join their children in this part of the program

Other things to know

• Taught by licensed pilot(s)
• Entire program in English
• Suitable for children and youth aged 10 and above interested in aviation, meteorology, or photography
• Participants must arrange their own transportation

Cost

• Full day program: $40 (lunch extra)
• Optional pizza lunch: $5
• Afternoon program only: $20
