The Eighth annual Doors Open Toronto will be held on May 26–27 (Saturday and Sunday). The theme for this year's Doors Open is “Green energy”, and Chinese Cultural Centre is glad to be one of the participants. This is the fifth year that Chinese Cultural Centre has participated in this mainstream activity, and we hope that we can promote Chinese culture to every Torontonian.

Different from previous years, visitors can have a tour to our newly-built Phase II facilities, which include the 626-seat P.C. Ho Theatre and the 8500-square-foot Multi-Purpose Hall. The Phase II building has just won herself the “Mid size construction award” and is classified as an energy-efficient building. We will have volunteers showing visitors around the Centre, providing both English and Chinese narrations. In addition, we are having a garage sale at the Centre.

Furthermore, to celebrate Asian Heritage month, a special thanks goes to Discovery Channel which provides us with the 5 episodes of Daily Planet goes to China to run during the event at no charge. The 5 episodes of Daily Planet goes to China introduce both the economy and business sectors of China nowadays, which are very much worth watching.

The Chinese Cultural Centre will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am–5 pm. For further information, please contact 416-292-9293 or email info@cccgt.org
