Nam Kuen Kung Fu Program

“Nam Kuen” Cantonese for “southern fist,” is a term for traditional Chinese Martial arts as practised in Southern China. The goals of Nam Kuen Association of Canada are to develop the Spirit and Characteristics of traditional Chinese martial arts and to promote our martial arts culture in a systematic and scientific way.

Nam Kuen Association of Canada is going to organize a “Nam Kuen” kung fu program and a “Nam Kuen” self-defense program at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto. The “Nam Kuen” kung fu program will contain beginner's class, intermediate class, and advanced class. Each class is divided into adult (15 and above) and children (6–14) groups. There are 12 sessions in each class and 1.5 hours each session. Programs start on every Monday, Thursday 7:30pm–9:00pm and Saturday 10:00am–11:30am (self-defense) 11:30am–1:00pm (kung fu). Students will attend class twice a week, Monday and Saturday for class A, Thursday and Saturday for class B.

All instructors are qualified and experienced and are renowned martial artists. All programs are conducted through an easy-to-learn method ensuring that every student will achieve the required standard under guidance.

*Prerequisite—Students must complete beginner's class

Advanced1.5 hours each session (12 sessions)$150
“Nam Kuen” advanced hands form, bare hands and weapons application technique
*Prerequisite—Students must complete intermediate class
Student may proceed to enhancement class after graduation
