Chairman & President:

Dr Ming-Tat Cheung (張明é”醫生) has been the Chairman and President of the Centre since 1989. A clinical cardiologist by profession, his professional involvement has included: Member of the Ontario Medical Association's Council; President of the Clinical Society and Chief of Cardiology and Internal Medicine at Humber Memorial Hospital; founding member of the Chinese International Heart Health Network; and a Lecturer at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. Dr Cheung's community and charitable activities have included his appointment by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship as Facilitator for the merger of the Mon Sheong and Yee Hong seniors' homes; Member, the community settlement program for Vietnamese refugees; Member, City of North York's Committee on Race Relations; and Founding Member and President, Federation of Chinese Canadian Professionals (FCCP).

Vice-Chairman:

Hughes Eng (ä¼å“生) has been Vice-Chair of the Board of the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto since 1991. Retired from the University of Toronto Press at 1987 after 28 years of service, he was Vice-Chair of the Canadian Liver Foundation from 1989 to 1995, Chair of the Confederation of the Toronto Chinese Canadian Organizations from 1994 to 1998. He is now the co-Chair of the National Congress of Chinese Canadians.

Don Lim (æž—ç«‹) runs his own pharmacy store for 20 years. He is the Chinese Secretary of CCC's Board since 1992. Currently, he is the President of the Confederation of Toronto Chinese Canadian Organizations, President of Chinese Canadian Political Action Committee of Ontario, and President of Lem Si Ho Tong Society.

Alan Lam (林樹田) is a Registered Professional Engineer and Designated Consulting Engineer in Ontario. He joined the CCC Board in 2000. He is the President of three companies—GreenVilla Development Group Inc., Greenland International Consulting Inc., and Ecotech International Systems Inc.

Mrs Lena Wong (黃林慧齡) is CEO of Trustwell Realty Inc. She has been an active fundraising volunteer for various non-profit and charitable organizations since 1972. She was one of the founders of Toronto Elegant Lions Club and was President of the Lions Club in 1994–1995. She became Director of CCC in 1998 and is now the Vice-President in charge of Cultural and Education Programs.

Dr Dong-dong Dong (董冬冬åšå£«) is an established pianist in the music community. She received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music, U.S. and has extensive experiences of performing and teaching in the United States, Canada and China. Currently, she is conducting her own piano studio in Toronto. Dr Dong is one of the founders of the Chinese Artists Society of Toronto (formerly the Toronto Canadian Chinese Artists Centre) and served as its President from 1990 to 2000.

Jeff Goldenthal is a corporate / commercial lawyer practicing with the Markham-based firm of Wilson Vukelich LLP. Jeff obtained his BA from the University of Toronto in 1981 and his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1987. Jeff currently sits on the Board of directors of the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto and of the Durham Children's Aid Society. He was a contributing writer to two books dealing with legal issues for corporate treasurers and is the co-author of a book to be published in 2006 on taking security over intellectual property assets.

Howard Kutner is a sole practitioner of law with approximately 85% of the firm's work being estate planning, corporate, commercial and tax, with the balance related to real estate and lending. A majority of his clients are professionals. Howard obtained his LLB in 1972 and his LLM (Master of Laws) in 1980, both from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 1974. Howard has been serving in CCC's board of directors since June, 2004. He has, in the past, been involved in teaching with Seneca Conferences, George Brown, Ryerson, and the Appraisal Institute of Ontario.

Tony Wong (黃仲安) is a clinical chemist of a community hospital in the Greater Toronto area. He joined the Board in 1995 and is one of the directors in charge of Information Technology. He was a past president of The Federation of Chinese Canadian Professionals (Ontario), and a past president of The Chinese Canadian Association of Biomedical Professionals.

Wayne Fan (范瑋) has been a director of the Centre since 1996. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1982 from University of Toronto. He is the President of Fanta International Inc. a real estate consulting and property management company. He is a real estate broker and V.P. of Chinese Canadian Times. He is the President of Taiwan Entrepreneurs & Investors Association of Canada, Vice Chair of the Charitable Foundation of Taiwan Entrepreneur Society Taipei/Toronto (TEST). He was the President of TEST and Taiwan Universities & Colleges Alumni Association of Greater Toronto.

Joseph Kan (簡金鴻) graduated from the University of Toronto in 1976. He is currently the owner and founder of an 18-store Luggage and Leathergoods chain. These stores are under the names of K. Jamson, L'attache, and Luggage City. He was awarded the Canadian Retailer's Award by the Canadian Luggage and Leathergoods Association in 2000. For the past 3 years, K. Jamson has received the Consumer's Choice Award for Business Excellence.

Dr Benson Lau (劉秉純醫生) is a family physician in Toronto. He is a member of the Ontario Civilian Commission on Police Services, a government agency overseeing the police services in Ontario. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Chung Wah Chinese School which is devoted to the promotion of the Chinese heritage through education. He was the former Vice-President of Mon Sheong Foundation, a charitable organization providing nursing care to Chinese seniors. He was also the past Chairman of the Board of the University Settlement Recreation Centre.
