After years of fund-raising efforts and with the support of the three levels of government, business corporations, individual benefactors and the community at large, the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto has announced that the ground-breaking ceremony for Phase I of the Centre’s construction project will take place on Monday, November 18, 1996 at the Centre’s site at the intersection of Sheppard and Progress Avenues, starting at 2:00 p.m. All supporters of the CCC are welcome.
On the day of the ground-breaking ceremony a special advertisement page will appear in the major Chinese-language newspapers to mark this important milestone in the annals of the Chinese Cultural Centre. You are requested to indicate your support of the CCC and share this historic day with us by having your name included in this full-page advertisement at a cost of $100. Proceeds after cost will be credited to the CCC Construction Fund and an official receipt for the maximum allowed amount will be issued for tax purpose. This advertisement page will eventually be reproduced in bronze and displayed prominently in the CCC Building, as a permanent testimony to this important event, and the generosity of the Centre’s supporters.
Please complete the order form and send it, together with a cheque in the appropriate amount and payable to the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, to the following address not later than October 29, 1996:
