China earthquake writing contest

To promote active participation in the relief and reconstruction efforts of the earthquake on May 12 in China, CCC and the Toronto Chinese Writers Association are calling for submissions of original, unpublished Chinese-language essays on the theme of the May 12 earthquake.

The contest is open to all Canadians (citizens and residents) and students currently studying in Canada except for members of the Toronto Chinese Writers Association.

Please refrain from all political, religious, racial, or any similarly controversial subject matter. Max 1000 words. One entry per person. Please use proper manuscript paper (genko yoshi) for handwritten submissions.
