Date:October 21, 2007 (Sunday)
Time:2:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m.
Venue:Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCC)
Requirement:Junior Division:under 12 years old
Intermediate Division:12–17 years old
Fee:FREE

How To Enter:

  1. Contestants should hand in their artwork (42 cm × 29.5 cm) together with a completed registration form to CCC no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, October 15
  2. The judging panel will choose 20 finalists from each age group
  3. The 40 finalists will participate in the “World Heart Day” drawing competition to be held at the CCC on October 21, 2007

Theme:

  1. Junior Division (Drawing contest): “Healthy Family, Healthy Heart”
  2. Intermediate Division (Poster design contest): “Healthy Community, Healthy Heart”

Colour & Tools:

  1. Contestants should bring their own colouring tools and equipment
  2. A3-sized (42cm × 29.5cm) white drawing paper will be provided by the organizer to all finalists.

Prizes:

  1. All finalists will receive certificates and gift bags.
  2. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from each division will receive trophies
  3. Drawings by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners will represent Toronto to compete at the International Chinese Heart Health Network Drawing Competition in 2008 held in Hong Kong.

Notes:

  • All submitted artwork must be original, plagiarized works will not be accepted
  • Once submitted, right to use and/or publish the artwork belongs to the organizing committee
