The Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCCGT) has implemented the Women Empowerment Club (WE Club) through the Calling Out Racism project supported by Canadian Heritage. It  encourages and enables the social participation of racialized women and girls to promote cross-cultural understanding and to address racism and discrimination that the pandemic has accelerated. Racialized women will be engaged in Community Mobilizers training, educational workshops and will benefit from peer support. The project started from October 1, 2021, to June 30, 2023.
